Devices that dropped off
Anything that has been unavailable for more than 15 minutes is listed by name. Short blips are ignored, so a quick reboot doesn't wake you.
Home Health Kit adds a Home Health dashboard to your Home Assistant. It finds every offline device, low battery and missing backup on its own and tells you on your phone. It also comes with 9 ready-made automations. Install takes about 10 minutes: copy three folders, add one line, restart. No HACS, no custom cards.
Each one is a blueprint. You open it, pick your devices from a list and press Save. You don't write any code.
Sends the health alerts above to your phone, with an optional daily summary.

Anything that has been unavailable for more than 15 minutes is listed by name. Short blips are ignored, so a quick reboot doesn't wake you.
Every battery in the house is checked against one limit you set with a slider. The default is 20%. Sensors that only report "low" are covered too.
You get a warning if your last successful backup is more than 7 days old, or if there has never been one. You choose the number of days.
Alerts come through the free Home Assistant Companion app. You also see them inside Home Assistant.
HM Ignore.Use the File editor or Samba share add-on you already have. The zip includes a one-page install sheet with troubleshooting.
Put packages, home_health_kit and blueprints into your /config folder.
Add this to configuration.yaml if it isn't there already:
homeassistant: packages: !include_dir_named packages
The Home Health dashboard appears in your sidebar and the 9 blueprints show up under Blueprints.
Requires Home Assistant 2025.4 or newer. Phone alerts need the free Home Assistant Companion app. To remove the kit, delete the folders and restart.
No add-on, no cloud service, nothing hidden. Open any file and see exactly what it does.
